Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions customers ask us most often, about ZETA, about cybersecurity and about our hosting and datacenter services.

What exactly does ZETA do?

ZETA is a Dutch cybersecurity and datacenter company from Ede. We help organisations secure their digital environment (from penetration tests and 24/7 monitoring to Managed Detection & Response and incident response) and offer our own Dutch hosting, backup and datacenter services.

Who does ZETA work for?

We focus on Dutch SMEs and on non-profit, healthcare, education and industrial organisations throughout the Netherlands. Today, 750+ organisations rely on ZETA, with an average customer rating of 4.8 out of 5.

How long has ZETA existed and where are you based?

ZETA IT Security B.V. was founded in 2018 and is based in Ede (Gelderland). We serve organisations throughout the Netherlands, with our own Dutch infrastructure.

What is the difference between a penetration test and a vulnerability scan?

A vulnerability scan is an automated, continuous check that flags known vulnerabilities. A penetration test is in-depth manual work in which specialists attack your systems like a real hacker, including logic flaws and combined attack paths. They complement each other.

Do you offer 24/7 monitoring?

Yes. Our security monitoring and Managed Detection & Response run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Attacks do not wait for office hours, so neither do our detection and response.

Do you help with NIS2 and the GDPR?

Absolutely. We translate NIS2, the Dutch Cybersecurity Act and the GDPR into concrete, practical steps: from gap analysis and risk assessment to policy, measures and reporting for audits.

Where is my data and where are my log files stored?

With our hosting and datacenter services, your data stays within the Netherlands, under Dutch and European law. That is important for both the GDPR and digital sovereignty.

How quickly do you respond to an incident?

In the event of a security incident we act immediately. We agree concrete response times and escalation procedures with you and help you limit the damage and recover from clean backups.

What does cybersecurity cost at ZETA?

That depends on your size, risks and requirements. We start with a risk assessment and then advise you specifically, so you only pay for what you really need. Get in touch for a no-obligation, sharp quote.

In which languages is ZETA available?

Our website and services are available in Dutch (default), English, German, French and Spanish.
