What you as a visitor should know
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or remarketing. We do measure how our site is used, but only after you give your consent. If you decline, your visit is not tracked.
We always use necessary cookies for CAPTCHA verification and session security. Analytical cookies only after your consent. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page.
Form submissions are not stored in a website database. Contact requests go directly to our ticketing system in the EU.
You can request access, correction or erasure at any time via legal@zeta.nl. Response within 30 days.
The two legal entities responsible for processing your data
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). For privacy questions you can contact us directly via legal@zeta.nl.
Only data that is necessary for a properly functioning website and service
Name, email address, company name, phone number and your message. Only collected when you fill in a contact form yourself. Never automatically.
IP address and browser type are automatically logged on every visit. Used solely for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting. Never used for profiling.
Your choice in the cookie notice is stored in a small cookie on your own device. That cookie contains only your choice itself, no visitor number and no personal data, and it is sent along with every visit so our server knows whether or not it may measure.
Even if you decline, we keep a daily count of how many visits a page received, whether that was on a phone or a computer, and whether someone arrived via a search engine or directly. These are purely aggregate counts: no cookie is involved, we do not store an IP address or visitor number, and the figures cannot be traced back to a person.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling as referred to in Article 22 GDPR.
The external services involved during a normal website visit
CAPTCHA security (Turnstile) and CDN for font icons (Font Awesome). Cloudflare has EU data centers and complies with the GDPR via Standard Contractual Clauses.
Contact forms arrive as tickets in our Freshdesk system. Data storage in the EU (Frankfurt). A data processing agreement is in place in accordance with GDPR Art. 28.
Fonts are loaded via the Google Fonts CDN. In doing so, your IP address is temporarily processed by Google. Google uses Standard Contractual Clauses for EU data transfers.
Sending and delivery of our email. We use SendGrid's EU environment, with storage in data centres within the European Union. Since July 2026 we analyse website use on our own servers in the Netherlands, without any external party.
No advertising networks. We do not use social media pixels, advertising networks or heatmap tools. Data is never sold or shared for third-party marketing purposes.
What we measure, and why you always decide
We want to understand which information on our website is useful, and to align our communication with the services you take from us. Since July 2026 we do this with our own system on our own servers, instead of an external platform. Only the actual sending of email is outsourced to SendGrid.
If you give consent, we record which pages you visit, when, and how you arrived at our site. If you complete a form, we record the details you enter yourself, such as your name, email address, telephone number and company name. If you are a customer and log in to my.zeta.nl, we record which parts of the portal you use, so we can support you more effectively.
We do not sell data, we do not place advertising pixels and we do not use your data for third-party advertising. We do not combine your data with data from data brokers.
Your data is held in our own database, on our own servers in the Netherlands. No external analytics platform is involved any longer. We use SendGrid solely for sending email; it processes the data required for that within the European Union.
For tracking website usage we ask your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. For communication about services you already purchase from us, we rely on the performance of our agreement and on our legitimate interest in informing you properly. For commercial newsletters to people who are not yet customers, we ask consent in advance. Every email contains an unsubscribe option.
